Director of Coaching, Ylber Mezani
Coach Mezani is an Assistant Coach for Penn State Abington Men’s Soccer Team. He attended and played soccer for Manor College for two years, then transferred to Arcadia University. At Arcadia, he was part of the Hall of Fame team that played in consecutive NCAA DIII national tournaments in Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds. He has also coached for Manor College and Philadelphia SC.
2011 Boys Elite/Premier, Alain Brown
Coach Brown is USSF Licensed and the founder of A.B. Soccer Training. He has played for Montclair State Men's Soccer (2X NJAC Champion) and Oaklyn United FC (EPSL).

Daniel Mandel
Coach Dani has over 15 years of soccer playing and coaching experience, and is a fully licensed USSF Grassroots coach. Originally from Venezuela, he moved to the Los Angeles area at a young age and played
on elite Southern California club teams, including time with a U18 academy in Romania. He then played varsity at Johns Hopkins University before joining the men’s club team as captain for his final two years.
He has coached at the youth level during his time in Northern Virginia and Los Angeles before making a move to Philadelphia. Aside from his passion for the game, he dedicates his time as an internal medicine physician treating patients in a primary care capacity.
2011 Girls Premier, Trent Greiser
Coach Trent played collegiate soccer for Kutztown University, as well as club soccer with Buckingham Arsenal. He is currently the Assistant Coach at Cristo Rey High School, alongside our Coaching Director, Coach Ylber. With a passion for footwork and repetition, he also offers personal soccer training and spends his summers coaching for St. Joseph University’s camps in Philadelphia and NJ.
He co-created a soccer academy for youth in North Philly, under the Helping Hands Rescue Mission, where he has volunteered for 15 years.
2010 Boys Elite, Samuel Cole
Coach Sam has been coaching youth and high school sports for over 8 years. He attended Abraham Lincoln High School in Northeast Philadelphia, where he was selected as a first team all Public League Player and MVP. He would go on to play college soccer at Neumann University.
Coach Sam is currently the head coach of Salone FC men’s team and a coach at the Philadelphia Union SWAG program.
2010 Girls Premier, Jake Mulinge
Coach Jake has played youth football from an early age, rostering for PDA, West Orange High School, Fairleigh Dickenson Univ, St. Joe’s Univ, PDL, Atlantic City Crusaders, and Philadelphia Fury. He is a team member of Fury’s undefeated 2016 spring season and currently plays for the Philadelphia Spartans MASL3 indoor team.
He also has extensive coaching experience, having served as head coach for South Jersey Barons U8B & U9B/U10B, assistant coach for South Jersey Barons U10G & U12G, SJEB futsal academy trainer, technical trainer for Total Soccer Club, Harrison Club U10B soccer team and head coach for United Philly’s 2008G. He currently holds his F license and is looking to obtain his D and C license.
2006/2007 Girls Premier, Rene Tadal
Coach Tadal holds a USSF National D License and has over 30 years of college and club coaching experience. Most recently an Assistant Coach for Rochester Institute of Technology Women’s Soccer Team, he has also served as the Girls U18/19 Team Empire United SA Head Coach, assistant coach at St. John Fishe, and head coach of Rochester Ravens “W” League.
He was the United Soccer Leagues “W” League Coach of the Year in 2014. As a club coach, Tadal led his teams to four New York State West Championship and four appearances at the Snickers Regional.
2007 Boys Premier, Brandon Milbourne
Coach Brandon is a Philadelphia native who played for various soccer clubs in the area. After graduating from Roman Catholic HS, he attended and played soccer at Susquehanna College. In addition to United Philly, he currently coaches for Fairmont SA and Abington Friends High School.
2012 Boys Premier, Thomas Kpankpa
Coach Thomas is a USSF National D License coach who also coaches at The Baldwin School (Assistant Varsity Coach) and Fairmont SA. He played for the Penn State Club Soccer (NCAA Final Four Appearances).
2012 Girls Premier, Havana McElvaine
Havana began her soccer career as a grassroots youth player in her hometown of Denver, Colorado. As a teenager she competed in the ECNL with Colorado Rush, the U18 Women’s National Team, and was High School All-American. She played four years of Division I soccer with the Washington Huskies, acting as captain in her final season.
She has coached at the youth level throughout her playing career in Denver, Seattle and London where she lived while in graduate school. In addition to soccer, Havana is passionate about community organizing, history, and brushing up on her Spanish.
