TRAVEL COACH (U13-U16)

United Philly Soccer is seeking outstanding individuals to join our staff as Head Coach/Assistant Coach for our youth travel program.

We are looking for leaders who emphasize player development, teamwork, and creating a positive training environment. This part-time contracted coach will report to the Director of Coaching and the positions require weeknight and weekend hours during the fall, winter, and spring soccer seasons.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Full time coaching typically pays $600-$900 per month for ten months depending upon license and experience, and activity level of teams.

Our travel season is typically about 40 weeks mid-August through early June, though our high school age teams may start early and typically pause during September and October.

Most teams practice twice weekly and play in weekly leagues plus occasional weekend tournaments. Including practice prep time and monthly coaches meetings, typical hours are about 6-10 hours a week.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a USSF "D" License or USC Equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation: $20 - $40 per hour
