AFTER ACTION

Research suggests that the most successful moments on the field happen when teams play in unison. When teams perform in harmony, they can predict and anticipate their teammates’ actions. This results from constant communication. Thus, having a foundational tool for team communication is necessary. Therefore, United Philly has implemented the After Action Application as our player and team evaluation platform.

The After Action App builds on key concepts that drive player development and results. By creating feedback loops, feedback frequency, and reviews, the app enables us to start conversations among coaches, players, and parents. The more we can communicate as an organization, the more our culture can evolve. The ultimate goal is for the review system to influence behavior (development) positively.

After Action can be accessed on any electronic device by downloading the app or using the online website (Afteraction.com).
